”You preach about not mentioning the past, Stalker …but you’re just a hypocrite!!”
~We open in the familiar scene of the make-shift office of Genocide. The desk we are focused on though, is empty and all we see is the two framed jersey of the New York, Rangers stars and the surrounding pictures of Damion Steele and his family. A small glow is coming from off camera, and shortly after clicks off and Genocide walks into view. He stands behind the desk as he continues~
Genocide: I just finished catching up on this week’s promos, and I couldn’t help but notice that Dark Stalker hasn’t said a word. Every time he mentioned me in the past …all he said was, that I was living in the past by laying down the history of the feud between myself and Roger Williams. Well, that …or he’d make some sort of gay slur towards me, because I have respect for another wrestler that just so happens to be my Nephew.
~Genocide shrugs before continuing, as the screen seems to glitch~
Genocide: You make these remarks though Stalker, and yet your first promo all you did was talk about your past. Talk about how you were a younger man, when you first came to that promotion and couldn’t win a title. About how upset you were when you found out your wife passes, yet you still ran to the NEW arena and tied to win the very belt you are fighting for. Do my past experiences not count, because they didn’t happen here? Do my past accomplishments not count, because I fought my rival somewhere else? Do my past experiences not count, because they don’t involve you? It can’t be the first, because you happen to mention other places you fought in your promo too. It can’t be the second, because you also talk about fighting your rival in other places as well. So maybe the third one hits …it on the head, and I was right all along. If it doesn’t involve you, it isn’t right is it Stalker? If you weren’t there to see it happen, then it never happened …because only the things that happen to you, matter at all in this world or wrestling.
~Again, the screen glitches and Genocide appears on the opposite side of the desk. This time off to the left of the view. His eyes sparkle a deep purple, as he speak again~
Genocide: If you want to go solely off of the merits of that promotion though, that is fine with me …because you think I’ve accomplished nothing, and I can take that. Who can say, they’ve accomplished anything in the wrestling world …when they’ve only been there about two decades? Well, you know …I kind of can. You see, you claim I have done nothing, but indeed I have fought everyone the Wrestling World has thrown at me. I’ve won all but one more Title I want. Oh, and a match in which nor myself or my partner was pinned. That match though, along with all my other wins, seems to have caught the attention of the wrestling world’s top brass and got me here today.
~Genocide sits down behind his desk, and shuffles a few papers around in front of him then sets them off to the side~
Genocide: Before I get to the rest of you though, you weren’t done at one yesterday Stalker. You had even more to say, and I must say that before this promo I thought nothing of you. Now though, you are just like every other never was a champion I’ve faced in the past, that was afraid of the new younger blood coming up. You don’t know how to beat them, or what to say about them …so you just mock them. You mock and hope the laugh the people get out of it will turn into cheers …when the time comes to step into the ring. You mock, because you don’t know what else to do, and why? Is it because something another promotion owner said, got under your skin? Is it because, you just don’t believe he is what he says he is? Or, are you just that lame??
~Genocide’s eyes sparkle again, and the background becomes covered in purple and black flames~
Genocide: If said owner really got under your skin mentioning your wife in his state of the address …then why don’t you show it. You show sparks of it in the end, but if you’re really upset then show it. Show the passion. Show the love. Show that you’re alive, and not just another idiot cardboard cutout …like you had up there with you on that stage. Show you have some real passion, because all you are to me …is another idiot who doesn’t know what to say, and because of that. I don’t believe you, or your failed attempts at being spooky!!
~Genocide let a wicked smile curl his dark lips, as his eyes once again sparkle a deep purple shade. The glow dies down, and now they’re a shock white as he speaks again*
Genocide: I don’t believe you are what you say you are. You claim to be a man, whose life has been in shambles and uses wrestling as a crutch from a complete breakdown. The way you explain yourself, you might be in a closet somewhere cutting if you weren’t in the ring. The way you explain it, you would be better suited on a psychologist’s couch, alongside Scotty …then standing there making a promo. I don’t want to say your wife never died, and you never suffered any tragedy Stalker, but I just don’t believe you’re the next “Super Natural” Villain!!
~Genocide looks down for a second, reaches over and grabs a magazine from off camera~
Genocide: I applaud you for finally doing it Stalker. I applaud you, for finally taking the next step and really focusing on your love for wrestling. It’s going to be just like old times again, when both of us had full focus on our short amounts of time in that ring. It will be just like the first time we were ever in a match together, following around our new mentor Kaleb before the biggest night of the year. That was the first time, the two of us ever put our pasts behind us and worked together. And now, it’s like it’s happening all over again here in NEW.
~Genocide smirks, as he still looks deep into the camera lends. He flips through the magazine for a few seconds, before putting it on the desk and continues speaking~
Genocide: Don’t get it wrong Stalker, we’re still friends, but just like you said …this is a huge match. This is a match for a prestigious Championship, and I am ready to work with you until the very end. I am also ready to roll you up for the pin, the second you are neutralized. We have had our battles in the past, and know each other inside and out …and if it comes down to it, and we have to go hand to hand …I know that we will steal the show. Though, it isn’t about you and me. It isn’t even about Mr. “I Think, I’m Scary”. It is about proving to the NEW fans and the NEW brass that, we came here to be Champions and not side show puppets. The time is now to impress, and all I have ever done in my career is impress. I’m ready Stalker, and I hope you really are done trying to run this company and are ready to focus …because if you’re not, I’ll kick your teeth down your throat first chance I get!!
~Genocide nods, as the camera begins to fade away to black smoke~
Genocide’s Voice: No, wait. Just for the sake of Stalker Knight, I have one more thing to say.
~He clears his throat, and chuckles darkly~
Genocide’s Voice: If this was a swim meet, I’d be Michael Phelps, Bitch!!
~:~Part Two~:~
”There’s been a lot of questions poised to me in the past week.”
~We open up with Genocide sitting behind the desk in his make-shift office again. He is in front of him lays a big stack of Magazines and DVDs. He looks straight into the camera ignoring the mess on his desk in front of him, as he speaks~
Genocide: My fan forum has practically exploded with posts this last week, and last night when the When World’s Collide card was posted on new.com it was like a nuclear bomb went off. Everyone wanted to know what was going on with the new takeover attempt, and if I was going to have any part in it. The answer is Hell No, I will not! Not because I am not still on proper terms with the owner, but because we had a long discussion …and we decided, we didn’t need that to get what we wanted, all we needed was the younger guys.
~Genocide takes a short pause, to let that sink in for those fans out there who know what that means~
Genocide: Which makes When World’s Collide all the more interesting. The rumors were flying that I was ready to come back, and it seems that the NEW brass wanted to put the rumors to rest …so they booked the match, and now the rumor has broken, we’re back. Does that mean I’m so over now that we have a match against the whole roster? No, not by a long shot. I have always been about everyone else, and watching others backs so there will be plenty of that in this match …which doesn’t bode well for the others in this match, but I will put my hearts into winning. In the end though, I will be in that ring …raising my arm in victory, no matter who wins.
~Genocide reaches down and picks up the Magazine at the top of the pile, and fingers through it slowly as he continues~
Genocide: For those of you, who don’t know out there in TV land. The owner and I have a very long history. From a friendly rivalry, to pure hatred, and back to friendship …back to pure hatred, and back to friendship again. It seemed like we were forever linked together as friends and rivals. It all started in my rookie year in wrestling, and when both of us were with our second tag-team partner in our young careers. You see, back then …if you were considered undersized like we were, you only had two choices fight in your weight division or get a tag partner. After my first tag team partner retired, I found someone that was dimwitted enough to do everything I wanted to …but strong enough to have my back in the ring and this guy was well, much like he is now, fighting to get himself known with a partner in the same situation.
~Genocide snickers to himself, as the scene glitches and he’s now in front of the desk. His arms are folded over his barreled chest, and his eyes shimmer a bright white~
Genocide: Of course it wasn’t too long before our two teams crossed paths, and we were fighting each other for the Tag Championships and that’s how our rivalry began. We fought night in and night out with neither of us beating each other for the belts during the feud …and both teams soon split up, and the rivalry spilled over into the Heavyweight Division where I was now Champion. Our feud spilled over, and cost this guy the Championship. Soon enough, we were fighting one on one in a Cage Match with nothing on the line …but the end of our Rivalry, once and for all. Instead of ending our rivalry though, I nearly ended his career …when I broke his freaking neck!!
~Genocide shakes his head, and sighs as he drops the Magazine back on the desk. The camera catches a glimpse of the cover, that shows a wrestler lying on the mat, surrounded by EMTs and The Angel Of Death in the background looking overly pleased with himself~
Genocide: It took a long time, for me to get that memory out of my head. The image of what I had done to him haunted me for a long time every time, I prepared for a match. I overcame it though and obviously so did he, and that was just the beginning for the two of us. That was just a small sample of the five years, that we have been acquaintances in this business. It was only the beginning and now, at When World’s Collide …we continue, that long history as we fight for the World Championship.
~Genocide blinks a few times, and is some how back on the opposite side of the desk. He lets out a twisted smile, as he continues speaking~
Genocide: The World Championship is a belt that I look at, and think this could be one of the biggest accomplishments in my career. I’ve won Fifteen World Championships …the only reason I even got a shot at those belts was because the Champion thought there was no way that I, being a Super Heavyweight would be a World Champion. I never had the opportunity to win a belt that showcased your abilities to climb the ladder through wrestling, and I am looking forward to my first opportunity to do so here. I look forward to climbing that ladder, and I look at former Champions that did so one thing pops out at me. I’m going to be the first one to become World Champion in NEW!!
~The background begins to fill with a thick smog, it fills in around the camera as Genocide speaks again~
Genocide: A year ago, I was working my way through the ranks and winning the MWE Championship, and less than a year later …I was main-eventing pay per views. This belt isn’t just a steppingstone to the top, it seems to me …to be a rite of passage. It seems, that this belt was held by every person in the Wrestling World …who is considered a “legend” everywhere and that is exactly what I want to be one day. I want to be known, as not only one of the greatest in my past major federation, but as one of the best ever, and this is my shot!!
~Genocide grins wickedly into the camera, as he takes a short pause~
Genocide: So, NEW better be ready for a fight, because they’ve had that belt for a long time and whether they likes it or not …one of the Dark Army are going to walk out with that belt. It’s been in the back office to long enough, and I know they want that belt in an epic match …that meant a lot to them, but it’s time that the NEW gets a new face at the top, and you’re looking at it …And I’ll Send You, Straight To Hell!!
~Genocide continues to smile with a cocky grin, as the scene fades to black and the smog engulfs him~
