A Day Out
The scene opens on the Lincoln Park Zoo. The day was bright and sunny and warm. Crowds moved through the park taking in the animals and attractions that were scattered through out. The figure of Hiro can be seen. His hair loose and he is clad in pants and t-shirt looking at the animals. Gabriela soon appears in view with a stuffed white tiger under arm. Hiro smiles seeing her.
Hiro: They have so many exhibits here.
Gabriela: That they do. I don't think I've ever seen so many animals in one spot.
Hiro: It has been quite a sight walking around in this city the buildings are so tall
Gabriela: That's for sure. I've been to New York and it's just as impressive. But it is intimidating.
Hiro: Definitely very busy. Lots of cars and sirens.
Gabriela nods.
Gabriela: I miss the countryside already. But we are here for a few nights.
Hiro: Yes 3 nights but we can possibly fly back after the second night since we are only booked for night 1 and 2.
Gabriela: I hope that's the case. I mean on the first night we are facing off against World Elite...
Hiro: They turned their back on NEW to join Dean's cult. It will be an honor to teach them a lesson.
Gabriela: Yes it will. They think they have it made siding with Dean but they haven't even managed to get any further in the company then they were before
Hiro: They only won against Crossdresser Michelle & Cletus the Bum, and Los Americanos. They haven't won against anyone of our caliber
Gabriela shakes her head and smiles softly.
Gabriela: No they haven't. They got lucky but nothing more.
Hiro: Our only loss came at the hands of the top ranked team in the tournament
Gabriela: And even then it was against worthy foes.
Hiro: AJ and Kofi you do have a solid blend of speed and striking, but nothing that we can't do as well.
Gabriela: I've been trained by some of the best Luchadors in the world and I know how to handle you two. Hiro has been trained traditionally in martial arts. Do you really think you can stand to us?
Hiro: We are able to strike, be on the ground, or fly. Anything you can do, so can we. The difference is we do not need people interfering for us.
Gabriela: That's true. But you know we will have people watching over us. If anyone is stupid enough to get involved then they are in for a world of hurt.
Hiro: Speaking of people watching our backs, I do have to talk with Necra and Rene as well if you would care to join me.
Gabriela: Of course.
Hiro: Maybe if we inflict enough pain on AJ and Kofi, they will open their eyes against Dean's insidious manipulations
Gabriela: I some how doubt that. They are in to deep and can't see the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts.
Hiro: We will just have to shock their system.
Gabriela: More than likely. But we're going to win this match and they will fall back to the wayside just like everyone else.
Hiro: And Eclipse of Darkness we may be seeing you in the finals and we will be victorious this time.
Gabriela: This time we will come out on top no matter who steps in our path.
Hiro: Whatever doesn't kill makes us stronger.
Gabriela: Well spoken. We better head out and not keep Rene and Necra waiting.
Hiro nods and extends his hand to Gabriela. She takes his hand as they start to walk off as the scene fades to black.
