Act 1: Release the Kraken?
The scene opens on the Du Lac Estate. The night had come on and a storm was starting to move in. Thunder rolled somewhere in the distance, as heavy clouds rolled in over the countryside. The camera moves over the vast estate grounds and soon stops on the guest house. The house was lit from top to bottom, and the sound of a loud roar coming from somewhere within. The camera moves to the interior of the house where we see Rene standing in the middle of a room that looked like something that escaped from one of the large tubes within. Ragnarok is leaning against one of the counters, as a rather strange looking creature laid in the middle of the floor, with a puddle of black blood around it. She checks on Ragnarok as she wipes off blood from her white jacket.
Rene: Are you alright?
Ragnarok: Yes. It was nothing that I couldn't handle...
Rene: I know... But this one was not an easy fight... Now I have a mess to clean up, and I have to start again.
Ragnarok: Sorry about that.
Rene sighs but gets him to sit down on one of the chairs checking him over once more.
Ragnarok: I'm fine.
Rene: Are you sure?
Ragnarok: Yes. I'll help you clean up.
Rene: You rest, and...
Her phone soon rings and she sighs. She sees a message on the phone and answers it before setting it aside.
Ragnarok: Who was that?
Rene: Mr. Du Lac. He must need my assistance in the main house.
Ragnarok: Go. I'll be here getting things cleaned up.
Rene: Just don't over do it. I'll be back in a few minutes.
Rene heads down the hallway and heads out the front door. She moves along the stone pathway that wound itself toward the main house.
Rene: What a night... I mean first one of my children tries to get out, and now... I am being called up to the main house for something. What, I am not sure. But it must be important for him to even call... In just a few days I'll be facing off in at least one match that I know of against a man that I have stood against at least twice before and lost. But this time, this time it will be different.
She smiles as she walks by a rather large pond, and sees a slight movement across the top.
Rene: Brian you hold two titles and I'm afraid that I have to take at least one of them from you. I've been trying to get my hands on one since the last time that we have met. I plan on getting through this match with the Cyber title in hand and bring back the glory to the Darkside; and if that means that I have to destroy you and take the title then so be it. It's not going to be an easy task but I will do whatever it takes.
She stops at the pond, and sees a set of glowing eyes from underneath.
Rene: One of my children lays within, but yet will never harm anyone. It is nothing more than a large fish, that would never hurt anyone... That are alive at least. Brian, I know you have your hands full during the next few days but I know that you will give me a decent fight on the first night, but how long can you keep up that momentum? I mean how long do you really think that you can last? I'm you first challenge, but I won't be your last.
She continues on the path as the thunder rolls a little louder overhead.
Rene: Phobos, do you really think you are going to make it against the only man I have ever seen take down something four times bigger than himself with just a simple sword? I mean you have your hands full with Sephiroth on the same night, and I'm sure you will have nothing left when you have a chance to face off against me on the second night. La Cazadora, I know that you and I have faced off against each other before and you have proven yourself and are looking for that big win but if we face off against each other, I am afraid that it's not going to happen this time. I will come against you and I will walk away with the win under me. I know that you already think you're going to win over me, but I'm afraid that you will get nothing and your title climb will end at my hands.
The thunder echos overhead, as lightning flashes nearby. Her shadow seems to change slightly with each flash.
Rene: Necra, Astaroth I'm not sure which one of you I'll face off against if I somehow manage to win over Brian which I have a feeling I will do. He will have his mind elsewhere and focused on facing someone other than myself. I know that both of you will put up a fight in the end, but only one of you are even considered part of the same family that I have come to know personally. Astaroth you are nothing than a fool if you truly think that you are going to win against one of the most powerful groups in the NEW. If you think you can handle me then come at me with everything that you have but even you know that it will not be enough.
Rain starts to fall, as she makes it to the corner of the house.
Rene: Sephiroth if you and I have to face off I know that it will be a fight that I will regret. I have seen what you can do to those that stand in your way to get a title, or at least a a chance at a title. I've heard the stories but I am not afraid. I will stand against you and try to prove myself against you and bring honor and another title to the darkside in the end. But there is one thing that I should have done...
The lightning flashes in the sky as her shadow seems to change once again. This time, her hair is long and seems to move on its own. As the camera focuses back on Rene we see her eyes are no longer violet but pure black pools.
Rene: Release the Kraken!
The lightning flashes once again, as she laughs an evil laugh as the scene fades to black.
